If opportunity doesn't knock, buiId a door.

Hello to everyone! I'm Naz, I'm 20 years old and I'm going to tell you my own ESC story. When applying for this project, I was going to the second year of university and was looking for a program that I could experience abroad for myself. As a result of many applications made over the course of a year, I received admission from Bulgaria.

When I finally arrived in Bulgaria at the end of everything, I was so excited without realizing what was waiting for me. Meeting new people, sharing the same house, getting to know different cultures was much nicer than I thought. Although I have no previous experience, it has been a very nice experience to work with disabled people and Roma children. It was very nice to do various activities, spend a good time together, learn new things.

In addition to all these, thanks to focus assosication, I had the opportunity to meet more than 100 people in the projects I participated in. I had the opportunity to learn by having fun in these projects with different topics.

I have gained a lot of achievements that I have added to myself during this period, memories that I will always keep. I have learned that even if we don't speak the same language, we can help each other,we can always communicate in common places.

I also improved my English, which I have always been afraid to speak. Now I can speak English with a self-confidence that I will not be afraid of someone judging me. and I was also able to learn a little Bulgarian, which seemed to be very difficult.

I think everyone should experience this project, which provides an opportunity to get to know new cultures and explore new places, at least once. I am very happy to be a part of the Focus family. For now, I can say to Bulgaria and the focus family that we will see you soon. Because I know we'll meet again and I'll learn new things again.
